Damian O'Malley (Marketing Strategist) was until February 2009, the Chief Strategy Officer, EMEA of McCann Erickson, the world’s largest advertising agency. Prior to joining McCann in 2004 Damian founded and ran an international brand architecture consultancy with offices in London, Dublin and New York. Between 1992 and 1997 he was the Strategic Planning Director of DDB in New York. From 1977 to 1992 he worked in London as a strategic planner at three agencies, i.e. BMP DDB, Gold Greenlees Trott and Woollams Moira Gaskin O’Malley.

Damian’s international client experience includes Intel, HP, Digital, Honeywell Bull, ExxonMobil, GM, StatoilHydro, Johnson & Johnson, Barclays International, Columbia University, Boots and Nescafe. Domestically he has worked with numerous clients and brands ranging from Sharwoods Sauces to The Sunday Times.
